The primary activities you can use Pixel for is View, Searching, Filtering, and Sorting.

When you start Pixel you’ll land on a selection of photos.

Scrolling down will provide an almost endless list of photos. At the top you’ll see a “hamburger” icon to expand the option pane where actions like filtering, searching, and sorting can be done. Closing this will refresh the screen with the newly chosen options.

Sorting & Filtering

There are 4 options to filter or sort the images you view. Feature, Sort by, Sort Order, and Categories. Each will present a unique set of photos adjusted to your liking.

When searching you can sort and choose the categories. Hit the search icon on the search bar or keyboard to begin the search.

Anywhere you see a photo you can click on it to view the photo fullscreen, zoom, pan, or swipe to the next photo.

At the top you’ll notice a Details icon, Google Cast icon, and overflow with options to view the photographer, set as a wallpaper, or animate the photo Ken Burns style. *Not the Google Cast icon will not show unless a Cast device is nearby.

Photo Details

When viewing the details of a photo there is another hamburger icon which is where comments can be viewed. Clicking on any of the hashtags will begin a search for that hashtag.

Clicking on Photographers will show all the photos of a particular person and who they follow in 500px.
